House Rules

Your enjoyment and comfort is very important as we want you to make everlasting memories during your stay. As our goal is for you to enjoy our home, we also want to respect our neighbors. This house is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and is intended for beach lovers such as ourselves to come and enjoy the coastal charm that the Oregon Coast has to offer. Most importantly to share these experience with family and friends. So please read the following house rules below.

*** The Serious Stuff ***

1. Noise Levels:

We do expect our guests to respect the neighbors and neighborhood by keeping noise levels down during quiet time which is between 10pm to 8am. Please enjoy the laughter and wonderful conversations at reasonable level.

2. No Parties or Events:

Unfortunately, this house is not intended as a party or event house. Disruptive gatherings are prohibited, regardless of size. Airbnb Community policy does not allow for disruptive gatherings, open invite gatherings, disturbances to the surrounding community (such as excessive noise, excessive visitors, excessive trash/littering, smoking nuisances, parking nuisances, trespassing, vandalism).

3. Please leave shoes at the door.

Littles one that come visit explore the house by crawling so if we can leave shoes at the door this will help keep the floors clean.

4. No Smoking on the property.

5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

6. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed to stay overnight.

7. No tampering or obstructing of security devices allowed.

8. Colored Beverages & Food on Hard Surfaces Only: Important.

Beverages come in different colors, some are tastier than others, but they all have one thing in common, they can all be spilled. And at times can be very difficult to get out if spilled on the carpet. And for this fact, we ask that NO colored beverages and/or any food be brought to areas with carpet. Water is completely fine.

9. No dying hair or any kind of dye in the house.

Many times, it causes damages to the towels and bedding, and guests will be charged for damages caused by dye.

10. Pets in the bunk house only.

We love our furry friends, but we do ask that they enjoy their time in the Bunk House and try to stay off the furniture as we try to be mindful of other guests that have allergies that intend to stay in the main house. Please feel free to reach out if you have any question or how we can help to accommodate.

11. CHECK OUT times are strict.

We strive to accommodate late check-outs when possible, so please reach out if you need an extension. We'll do our best to assist, but it depends on availability. There is a $50 fee for unauthorized check-outs after 11:15am.

*** The Easy Stuff ***

1. Please close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the property.  Please close windows when it's raining as the rain can hit quite hard on the coast and it ends up damaging the interior when the windows are left open. 

2. If lights are not being used, please kindly conserve energy by turning them off. It also provides a better mood for a more romantic setting.

3. Please dispose of trash in the provided trash bins. There are several trash bins around the house, but unfortunately the toilet is not one of them. Please have trash in bags.
Helium tanks: please do not dispose of helium tanks in the trash bins as they need to be disposed of properly. Please take helium bins with you when you checkout. $50 disposal fee will be charged if helium tanks are left behind.

4. Kitchen: Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We supply tea and coffee, as well as cooking utensils should you wish to cook. Our only request is that if you have time, to help us out, if you can load the dishwasher and run the machine prior to leaving. That would be very helpful to our caretakers and we would appreciate it!

5. Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.

6. Please make sure to shut off propane tanks when not in use for the bbq grill.
